Riverbend Park Disc Golf Course |

|---|---|
| Established in 2011, the Riverbend Disc Golf Course is located in a beautiful park along the Rock River in Horicon. Originally designed by Madison Area Disc Club members Seth Johnson and Don Hunkel and built by the Horicon Phoenix Program as a 9-hole course, future plans include adding a practice putting hole as well as 9 additional holes placed throughout the park to support future tournament aspirations.
The course is great for beginners and intermediate players, with nice baskets and signage. Each hole presents its own set of challenges (hole #2 is short but ace-able). Players can reasonably play 18 holes (9 holes twice) in about an hour. Although it is often you will see other players on the course, it is never crowded. The Horicon Phoenix Program hosts two tournaments yearly; the annual 'Horicon Huk' takes place on the 4th Saturday in May, while the annual 'Ace Race' is held on the Saturday of each Labor Day Weekend Celebration in the fall. Don't have a set of discs? The Horicon Public Library has several sets of the frisbee-like discs for checkout. | ![]() |
