Our group volunteered to help out at the Horicon Marsh International Educational Center’s Candlelight Hike in the marsh. Held in the dark, attendees can walk along the candle lit trail, enjoy the beautiful night sky, and the delightful crunch of snow underneath your boots. When finished, groups can stand by the bonfire and get warm, roast marshmallows, go inside to view displays from local artists, munch on cookies and hot cocoa, and complete a craft.
Check out the cute felt mice made at our craft table. Over 1000 people attended this event. Thanks to Tammy, Leslie, and Julie for manning the craftroom, and Liz for the bonfire photo. We look forward to helping out next year.
